A month ago, I went in for an appointment and I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my hair other than cut it. Cayom and I discussed a few options and he advised me on what they'd look like.

In the end, I decided to get a bit of length taken off and trim the side bangs. The process from start to finish was lovely. All the staff members were friendly, professional and hospitable. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience and I left the salon happy and confident.

Very happy with my hair colour, I wanted to colour my hair without bleaching and at the same time didn't want to ruin the karetin treatment I had done few weeks back. Zack and his team took good care of my hair and he also suggested a colour that would suit my skin tone better than what I wanted. I picked this salon because I needed someone to rescue my hair after a couple of bad haircuts in a row. It's great that they have an introductory offer with the director, Cayom, if you're a new client - especially if you are nervous about trying a new stylist after a bad experience.

He took time to talk through and explain the technical decisions that are made in a haircut and also what the current issues with my hair were. I left feeling very happy with the result and very well looked after in the salon. It pays off to go somewhere where they have the skills to problem solve and give you a tailored service, rather than just a prescriptive haircut that has been taught to apply to anyone.

It will take another couple of visits to get repair the issues I had, but now I can still enjoy my hair now and I'm not just pinning it back or looking for hats!

I will begin by saying that I was completely surprised by this Salon . For a while now I was trying to search for the best hairstylist to do my hair , and I stumbled across Top 1. I walked in without an appointment and I was served straight away and asked to be seated . I was greeted by Zakir who was about to go on break but decided to be kind and do a thorough consultation. He took time to understand my hair condition whilst my hair was in a really bad state . He was very honest about what possible outcome he can do. He was able to successfully lift my hair to a blonde in the hair strand . He was also able to very quickly get me an appointment as I needed my hair done ASAP. On the colour correction day, he made me feel comfortable and he was understanding about my hair journey, it’s longevity and gave me insights about the treatment I would need to do in order to maintain my blonde locks . My overall experience was amazing , I am shocked at the result , I am truly emotional about my hair as it means everything to me . I recommend Zak ! Thank you so much for this transformation.

I walked in on the off chance there might be an appointment to rescue my hair. The staff made that possible, and I came away with a great haircut. My sister and I turned up as a walk in after contemplating where to go and it ended up being the best decision ever. We got a lovely welcome when we walked in and I got a cut by the director during their October deal and my hair has never looked better! He took the time to listen to what I wanted and I’m not a very talkative person but even just from my body language he knew exactly what to do to give me the haircut I’ve always wanted. I asked for a specific cut and we talked about what I liked about it and I left with a haircut that as he said “you’ll be able to wake up and go without needing any styling” and he did not lie! I have never been happier with my hair whether I straighten or wear naturally curly, so thank you to him and everyone in his family business that made mine and my sister’s visit enjoyable.

Best experience and THE BEST hair cut ever! Zakir cut my hair and I honestly can say I absolutely love it and wish I had done it sooner! I’ve had my hair long for such a long time and was in desperate need of a haircut. Zakir was so good at taking his time to go through the consultation and explain the whole way throughout about what he was doing and accommodating to what I wanted. Zakir is an absolute perfectionist and is so talented. My hair hasn’t looked or felt this good in years! Would 110% recommend. I have had my hair cut there since they opened in 2012 and have always been more than satisfied with the end result. I recently came in to go from black box dye to blonde which is a very difficult task to do but the staff did an amazing job on getting my hair to lift without damaging it. My stylist and the whole team were really attentive the entire time and made sure i was comfortable for the 9+ hour session. No doubt top one is really good in hair cut and colour . I booked through instagram and paid £25 advance which I was never told is non refundable, so I had to make this appointment at any cost due to advance. I booked for hair cut and finishing but informed before booking that its for an event so when I arrived hair dresser checked my hair was short already so I said to just make waves. He done it in 10 minutes with straightener , no wash or cut nothing. When I was about to leave he told the receptionist to take more £35 and said she booked for wash and cut . I asked that yes I booked but I didn’t get any services except waves with straightener which I could even do at home,had to get it done from them bcz of advance. So I ended up paying more £20 in total £45 just for waves. They should also set prize for these type of services instead of saying we normally don’t do these things or they should have said we don’t style so , at least I could have just wasted my advance money only not more £20

My second time getting my hair done at this salon by Zakir. My first appointment was a last minute appointment just for toner before my holiday which he executed perfectly and accommodated me despite such short notice. For my second appointment which I had today which was again last minute only booked in last night, he stayed open longer than usual to fit me in and he completed an amazing brunette look half head balayage and cut which I am absolutely obsessed with. I received quality service to match what I wanted. Zakir really took his time to understand what look I wanted to go for before getting started which I feel made all the difference in achieving the colour which I wanted. the environment within the salon was so nice as well and he made me feel super comfortable during each step and catered to all my needs. Zac yet again gave me a hair cut and style that I love. He’s really attentive and takes the time to really understand what you want. He also gives advice about what would suit and work depending on lifestyle, hair texture and styling skills. I couldn’t recommend Zac more.

Wonderful experience here at top one! I called in the morning with a need of a major colour correction that I got done at a different salon. They went above and beyond to ensure I got it sorted the exact same day! Family run business and every single interaction was so warm and caring. I felt so at home! Zac in particular who did my colour was absolutely amazing. I put all the trust in him to correct my hair and he did that and more. Best colour technician I’ve ever came across and the whole team were outstanding! Thanks ever so much. I will be back.

Zakir exceeded my expectations by flawlessly covering my grey roots, going above and beyond during his off-hours without a single complaint. The entire staff was warm and welcoming. Wow! Wow! Wow! The best hairdresser I went since I moved to London 7 years ago. Tony is so talented and professional. He knows everything about hair, and the way that he cut my hair was incredible. I've been two times already and my new barber Zach is amazing. He really knows how to cut hair and you can tell he puts a lot of thought into each action he takes when cutting your hair. He's great at analysing what type of hair you have and suggesting a style for you if you haven't got a clue what you want, which was a big plus for me. Zach is also very friendly and enjoyable to speak to. Overall, I'd say I'm very satisfied. The price is definitely worth the quality you receive from this place and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a haircut.

I would zero star if I could.
I did Brazilian keratin in this place.The young asian gentleman doing my work was so caring and nice.However,During their work, a tall black hair lady which looked angry burned my head and hair couple of times during drying my hair.
I treated my hair properly as I was told, but despite I have a soft hair I did not get any satisfying results.
Their keratin just last about a week and now My hair is like the first day.
Also at the end when I wanted to pay, the manager came and put £110 in the card machine despite I was told on consultation day that I only have to pay £97.
Really disappointing.

I have been coming here for years for perfect eyebrow threading and recently started laser hair removal and absolutely love the excellent care and attention the staff give! I have been to other salons before for laser but coming here was the best thing I have ever done. So worth it. Top1one is my favourite hair salon by far ! such lovely friendly welcoming staff, salon always lovely and clean. I always book Zak he is such a great guy and listens carefully to what you ask or your concerns he cuts hair so very carefully and doesn’t go scissor mad like many I have experienced , he takes time and seems to want to get it perfect. I hope he doesn’t leave the area🙏
All the staff are so nice and offer you coffee tea or something to drink and it’s is always a very relaxing and enjoyable experience !

I would highly recommend Top 1 Salon in Richmond. The team are very professional, friendly and provide excellent service and treatments. I see Neetu who does pain free immaculate waxing. I also have amazing pedicures with her. She is friendly, precise and thorough. My feet feel well cared for after visiting her and her pedicures last a month or more. Highly recommend 😊

My mother was looked after by the senior stylist Tony, who was patient, listened intently to her wishes and did a great job in giving her a new hair do. She was a bit apprehensive at first going from her long locks to a short bob but came out very pleased.

I was looked after by Steve who was lovely, very patient and diligent in styling my hair, we are both very happy with the result. We would be happy to recommend their services.

They very kindly fit me in for a last minute appointment. Steve was so knowledgeable about hair in general and has the most gentle hands. I have very fine hair prone to breakage but he handled them with care throughout the wash and blow dry process. The lady who did my eyebrows threading was also very good. Zak has been cutting my hair for 5 years now- over the years my friends have all started going to him for cuts too, as they loved the way he cut my hair. He puts more effort and precision into a cut than any other hairdresser I have been to. His perfectionism and attention to detail, as well as his professional and friendly manner are what make him an artist. He also provides excellent advice on styling and hair products. From Bob cuts to blunt cuts to layers, Zak has always kept my hair looking healthy and fabulous! This salon goes above and beyond to make you feel pampered. All the staff are incredibly friendly.

Last three visits have been with Zak who does my hair the way I want and like. He questions to understand my expectations and offers suggestions or alternatives for possible improvements on my style (he knows more about my hair than I do) and always talks me through each step before doing it to make sure no error happens or miscommunication occurs. I've gone here for years to get my eyebrows waxed. I had originally done threading but it felt like I was being tortured for information that i didn't have (this isn't their doing, its the same pain with anywhere that does threading.)

I get them waxed now which is WAY less painful, the woman who does them is very friendly, knows what shes doing and makes it feel much more comfortable given my prior experience in other places that make it a painful or uncomfortable experience.

Prices are reasonable (especially in Richmond) and they have done decent discounts in the past that I hope return. recommend highly. i intend to continue coming back here

I don’t get my haircut regularly as it’s been ruined several times from hairdressers. I read reviews about Top1 and took a chance especially as first cut was half price! Stephen listened to what I wanted. I explained about the cut and wanting a low maintenance style. Also as I have curly wavy hair so something suitable to accentuate the curls or if I straightened it. He blow dried it which looked great but I didn’t want to leave a review until i saw how the cut was once I washed it and saw how it looked curly. All I can say is I’ve found a hairdresser finally I’ll be going back to. 🙂 Thank you Stephen for the fabulous cut. Overall the staff are friendly and lovely. Unlike some hairdressers who can be snobby etc. I’ll definitely be going back and recommending to family and friends.

Gianina did an excellent job with my root touch up and adding a few highlights around my face to break up some darker patches I had (from dying my roots myself over time).

Zakir was very artistic in his approach but also very practical. He gave me a beautiful cut that allows me to just wash and go); being a mom of three, I wanted something low-maintenance.

For my haircut, I went for a sleek straight bob which is a very difficult cut to do but Toni did an amazing job. He is very experienced stylist with great technique. I was passing by today and got into Top1One Hair and Beauty salon. The receptionist was extremely nice and helpful and the staff was welcoming. I had my highlights done by Gianina who did a great job covering my older un-uniform highlights very meticulously. Then I got a professional hair cut by Tony who made my fine hair look thick and healthy. I loved the natural blow dry technique that he used. Made my hair shiny and gorgeous. He refused to continue the work when I asked if he could kindly trim the two sides slightly thiner. He was very rugh when he was drying my hair. Lovely little salon in Richmond with kind and attentive staff. Toni did an excellent job, consulting me throughout the hair cut to ensure he was achieving a look that I wanted. 10/10 would recommend both the establishment and Toni to friends, colleagues and family alike.

Made an appointment at such a short notice, but we felt so welcomed and the service was perfect. My senior stylist Tony sat me down for consultation and recommended layered bob. Honestly couldn't be any more happy with final result. My hair feel super light, bouncy and most importantly brand new. Would recommend this salon to everyone, you wouldn't be disappointed!!! Try it.

I visited Top1One Richmond for a well needed haircut after lockdown and Tony did an amazing job! I would highly recommend Tony - one of the most thorough appointments I have had - he carefully listened to my style preference and really did an excellent job! Toni did my hair cut. It was amazing.The result was fantastic. He spent lots of time on my hair and was cleary passionate about what he was doing. He knew what i wanted better than myself and gave me good tips about how to look after my fizzy hair. It made me feel so special that the senior director cared so much about my hair with a very friendly and humble apporoach. I defenitly recommand Toni and Top one.
